{"id":67,"date":"2010-08-30T20:56:00","date_gmt":"2010-08-31T03:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iwashyoudry.codivist.net\/2010\/08\/30\/big-city-girl-in-a-small-town\/"},"modified":"2018-02-13T14:15:01","modified_gmt":"2018-02-13T21:15:01","slug":"big-city-girl-in-a-small-town","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iwashyoudry.com\/big-city-girl-in-a-small-town\/","title":{"rendered":"Big City Girl in a Small Town"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">It&#8217;s been difficult to not have Internet access at my fingertips for the past week.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">We made the long<em> {two whole\u00a0days}<\/em> trek across country to\u00a0a tiny little town\u00a0in the middle of Kansas.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">I think I lost my desire for cooking\u00a0somewhere\u00a0between Oklahoma and Texas&#8230;<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">Going from a large city with a large house<em> {with an actual kitchen},<\/em> to an itty bitty town, and an even itty-bitty-er kitchen has not been ideal for my meal plans <em>{or for the Man, who feels deprived of decent food}.<\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">I am getting re-acquainted with my culinary skills&#8230;so no worries, you&#8217;ll be getting some new recipes soon!!<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"clear: left; cssfloat: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/iwashyoudry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/laundry1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/iwashyoudry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/laundry.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" border=\"0\" alt=\"A close up of laundry washing in a washing machine. \" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">Here is the skinny on my new situation:<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">Since the Man has been working out of town for the past two years<em> {stinkin&#8217; economy!},<\/em> we decided it would be best for the family if we all travelled together.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">So we packed up all our stuff and put it away in storage<em> {even the washer and dryer}.<\/em>\u00a0We took just the essentials with us in our 5th wheel trailer, and away we went!<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">Hopefully you&#8217;ll enjoy some of my new adventures.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">If not, there are always the recipes!<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"clear: left; cssfloat: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/iwashyoudry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/snack1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/iwashyoudry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/snack.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" border=\"0\" alt=\"A baby eating Cheerios off her tray. \" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Girl #2 has been enjoying the trip&#8230;eating Cheerios&#8230;who wouldn&#8217;t love that?<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/iwashyoudry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/arcade1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/iwashyoudry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/arcade.jpg\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" border=\"0\" alt=\"A boy and girl playing arcade games. \" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div>Getting clean clothes means a trip in town to the local laundromat. Thank goodness for the old school arcade games!
