Meatballs!

A certain someone may or may not have bought balls of meat in the freezer section in the past. That certain someone may or may not have spent seven to nine dollars on said bag of meatballs. This certain someone may or may not have realized how easy and healthy it was to actually produce his or her own balls of meat. He or she could have also saved him or herself some money by actually doing this on his or her….

Alright…I’m guilty!

But not anymore…

Let’s make us some Turkey Meatballs!

A few basic things you’ll need to know when it comes to making meatballs:

1. Any ground meat will do. {I am using 1lb of ground turkey} Whisk all your ingredients {minus the meat} together till they are evenly combined.

Add the meat, and with your hands incorporate the two together.

{my little meat soldiers, ready for the hot oven!}

Form your meat into little balls. {mine are approximately 1 inch…and ready for battle}

2. You’ll need your “bonding agents” – egg, and bread crumbs. These act like a glue to hold the ball together.

3. Be creative and throw in some fun fresh ingredients.
