We love easy lemon treats like these Mini Lemon Cream Pies<\/a> and this 5 Ingredient Lemon Pudding Cake<\/a>.<\/p>\n I combined my favorite buttery crust from these Pecan Pie Bars<\/a> and my lemon bar filling from my Lemon Bar Magic Cake<\/a>.<\/a><\/p>\n Whenever I get a surplus of lemons, this recipe is sure to be made. You’re going to LOVE the taste and texture of these lemon bars.<\/p>\n Here’s a basic list of the ingredients you’ll need in order to make this recipe. As always, you can find the full printable recipe located below in the recipe box.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The first step in making delicious lemon bars is to create an irresistible crust.<\/p>\n I prefer to use a food processor<\/a> and letting the machine do all the work to blend the cold butter with the flour. You can also use a pastry cutter<\/a> and mix by hand.<\/p>\n Once your crust is prepare, press it into a 9×13″ baking dish and bake for just 20 minutes.<\/p>\n PRO TIP<\/strong>: Line the baking dish with parchment paper to easily lift bars out of pan when done.<\/p>\n The filling is thick and creamy, with a silky smooth texture and the perfect balance of sweet and tart.<\/p>\n Use a lemon juicer (I have one like this<\/a> and this<\/a>) and make sure to discard any seeds that might have gotten in the liquid.<\/p>\n Whisk in the eggs, sugar, lemon zest and flour until the mixture is nice and combined. Then just pour the filling over the partially baked crust and return to the oven to finish baking.<\/p>\n I’ve found that I can get about 1\/4 cup of fresh lemon juice<\/strong> from ONE medium sized lemon.<\/p>\n For this recipe you’ll need just over 1 cup total, so I would get at least 5 medium sized lemons.<\/p>\nEasy Lemon Bar Recipe<\/h2>\n
